de Dirección Espiritual muy único, un programa bilingual, en cual puedes sentirte en casa, hablando Ingles o Español o los dos.
The ICSSD,
​ is led by Verbum Dei sisters. It also invites faculty members from the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University (Berkeley Campus) and other well known experts from across the USA to present some of the sessions. It is a 3-year Training Program in Spirituality and Spiritual Direction in the Diocese of Stockton, serving beyond diocesan boundaries the Bay-Area and the California valley from Sacramento to Fresno.  
El ICSSD
​ está liderado por las hermanas misioneras del Verbum Dei. También invita a profesores de la Escuela Jesuita de Teología de la Universidad de Santa Clara (Campus de Berkeley) y otros expertos reconocidos de todo Estados Unidos a presentar algunas de las sesiones. Es un programa de capacitación de 3 años en Espiritualidad y Dirección Espiritual en la Diócesis de Stockton, sirviendo más allá de los límites diocesanos, el Área de la Bahía y el Valle de California desde Sacramento hasta Fresno.

Pope Francis on the Importance of Personal Acompaniment:
Personal accompaniment in processes of growth …In our world, ordained ministers and other pastoral workers can make present the fragrance of Christ’s closeness and his personal gaze. The Church will have to initiate everyone – priests, religious and laity – into this “art of accompaniment” which teaches us to remove our sandals before the sacred ground of the other (cf. Ex 3:5). The pace of this accompaniment must be steady and reassuring, reflecting our closeness and our compassionate gaze which also heals, liberates and encourages growth in the Christian life.
