Kevin Burke, SJ, S.T.D.
Vice-President of Mission at Regis University Professor of Theology at Regis University. Prof. Burke has authored 5 books "Ground Beneath the Cross: The Theology of Ellacuria" and " Pedro Arrupe: Essential Writings" and "Introduction to Catholic Theology" an audio-book produced by Now You Know Media. Eduardo Fernandez, SJ, S.T.D. Professor of Pastoral Theology and Ministry at the Jesuit School of Theology. Prof. Fernandez has has authored several books, including La Vida Sacra: Contemporary Hispanic Sacramental Theology with James Empereur, S.J. (Rowman and Littlefield, 2006) and two books which have recently been translated into Spanish: Mexican-American Catholics (Paulist Press, 2007 and 2023); La Cosecha: Harvesting Contemporary U.S. Hispanic Theology (Liturgical Press, 2000 and Universidad Alberto Hurtado Press in Chile, 2020 ) Clare Ronzani and Bruce Lescher Jesuit School of Theology Berkeley, CA Both are educators who work at the Jesuit School of Theology of Santa Clara University. Each of them teach courses in spirituality and offer spiritual direction. As a couple, they offer workshops and retreats on various topics including spiritual direction, the enneagram, and theological reflection. Robert Lentz, OFM and Fr.William Hart Mc Nichols Brother Lentz is a Franciscan friar whose innovative icons are known throughout the world. Bill is his former apprentice who has developed his own style of icons. Robert, besides painting many hours each day, teaches apprentices, writes, and conducts workshops on art and spirituality throughout the United States. Bill, besides spending many hours in silence and painting serves underserved communities in Albuquerque and northern New Mexico as a diocesan priest of the Santa Fe diocese. Ramona Harris, MA Mrs.Harris is the author of, Awakening the Mystic in You, Messages of Light from the Christian Mystics. She has also created an inspirational card deck entitled, The Wisdom of the Christian Mystics and penned an article for the Spiritual Director’s International Presence Journal called Ten Steps to Awaken Your Inner Mystic. Ramona presents topics on Christian mystics and the women Doctors of the Church. |
Julia Prinz, VDMF, PhD
Adjunct Professor at the Jesuit School of Theology(SCU), Berkeley. She holds advanced degrees in Political Science and Psychology from the Georg-August University Goettingen (Germany,) theology degrees from the Friedrich-Willhelms University, Bonn (Germany), and the Pontifical Urbanian University, Rome (Italy) and completed a Ph.D in Christian Spirituality from the Graduate Theological Union. Ellen Hess, VDMF, S.T.D. As former General Superior, she has traveled extensively to over 36 cultures in the 35 years as a missionary. Finishing her terms in the general leadership in Rome, she completed her doctorate in Theology at the Jesuit School of Theology. She also studied in Germany, Belgium and Spain and is interested at the intersection of faith and popular culture. William O'Neil, SJ, PhD Prof.O'Neil is Professor emeritus of Christian Ethics at the Jesuit School of Theology and is the author of numerous books and articles. His newest ones are:Reimagining Human Right:. Religion and the Common Good published by Georgetown University Press. Catholic Social Teaching - A User’s Guide published by Orbis books. He teaches at the Jesuit Seminary in Nairobi, Kenia and oversees the ongoing formation process for the staff of the Jesuit Refugee Services in East Africa. Sophia Park, HNJM, PhD Prof. Park is Professor of Religious Studies and Philosophy at Holy Names University and a member of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. She authored numerous books one of them being, A Hermeneutic on Dislocation as Experience: Creating a Hybrid Identity, Constructing a Borderland (Peter Lang: New York, 2012) and has written articles and chapters in books, focusing on biblical spirituality, cross-cultural spiritual direction and religious life from a global feminist perspective. Pamela Prime, MA Mrs Prime, has been a spiritual director for over thirty years and has written a book in which she reflects intensely and courageously about her own spiritual life's journey, which includes the death of her son:When the Moon goes dark we can see the stars. As a mother of three and grown grandchildren she is invited as speaker, facilitator and workshop leader across California. Manuel de SantoMaria, SJ, STD An experienced Ignatian guide, Manuel is deeply knowledgeable in discernment and the process of spiritual life. He is a psychologist and spiritual director who is working full time as a retreat director. He helps us to navigate the questions of growth in spiritual life and Ignatian ways of discerning consolations and desolations. |
